Rcently, our team just wrapped up a really cool project over in Meizhou. They needed a major upgrade for a key intersection in the city center, specifically for their traffic guidance system. The old setup just wasn’t cutting it at night, and the response time was too slow. Our crew made the 300-km trip from Shenzhen to get the job done.
The big change we made was swapping out the old light sheet system for a new combo: a high-performance projection lamp working with a precision optical cutting module. The result? The brightness got a massive boost—over 50% brighter, making it truly sharp and clear even in total darkness. One of the best parts is how it fixed the alignment issue. The new system locks onto road markings like crosswalks with millimeter-level accuracy, which was a huge headache before. We also cranked up the responsiveness, slashing the trigger time from the usual 15 seconds down to just 3 seconds. Now it works in sync with the traffic lights, basically switching on the moment a vehicle approaches and off when it leaves.
This new system is seriously tough. It holds up perfectly whether it’s on a poorly lit country road or in a place with tricky lighting like a tourist spot. It’s at night, though, where you really see the difference—the clarity is on another level, making the roads much safer. The local transport department folks were pretty happy with it. They mentioned that it’s not just about better visibility at night; the smart sensing actually makes managing traffic flow a lot smoother and safer for everyone.
