3. Rigid Site Mounting Limitations

Field Insight: Optimizing Color for Driver Perception
During site testing, the initial plan called for a bright red zebra projection. However, on unlit rural stretches, red light alone failed to provide sufficient contrast. The engineering team shifted to a high-contrast white pattern designed to maximize driver reaction time, prompting motorists to reduce speed well in advance of the pedestrian zone.

2. Tailored Optical Lens & Illumination Design
Due to special‑site conditions, our engineers held in‑depth requirement discussions with the project party and carried out repeated product refinement and design iterations.
Since red markings were not conspicuous enough to illuminate road surfaces for safe pedestrian crossing, could we come up with a better solution? Installing lights is a viable option for pedestrian safety — but is there a way to achieve both goals?
After extensive deliberation, our engineers proposed an innovative zebra‑crossing cut‑off lighting solution. Instead of traditional colored zebra‑crossing markings, high‑power lamps are deployed. The lights activate instantly when pedestrians come within three meters of the induction sensors.

This proposal was highly commended by the engineering team. By rethinking the approach, it delivers enhanced safety for both pedestrians and vehicles.
The initial cut‑off lighting setting triggered lights within 1‑meter distance with a 15‑second response time. Through repeated testing and optimization, it has been upgraded: lights turn on within 3 seconds once pedestrians are within 3‑meter detection range.
This new solution was installed even amid typhoon‑prone weather. It gained wide popularity on Douyin, where many netizens commented that the installation greatly improved road‑crossing safety.

To maintain sharp contrast without blinding oncoming traffic, we customized:
